Why College Park looks different from other Davis neighborhoods

College Park was laid out in 1924 near the University Farm and used in part to attract faculty to Davis.

College Park dates to 1924, when lots near the University Farm were offered as Davis tried to attract university faculty. The neighborhood’s early homes and close relationship to campus preserve a visible layer of the town-and-gown history that shaped Davis.
