DAVIS HISTORY

How an old Davis High School became City Hall

A 1927 school building later served as Davis City Hall after municipal offices moved into the former campus in the early 1980s.

Davis has repeatedly reused civic buildings. The historic school complex on Russell Boulevard dates to 1927 and served as Davis High School before the high school moved. In the early 1980s, the City converted the former school for municipal use, creating the City Hall complex residents know today.
