What the Brinley Block is downtown

The Brinley Block at 714–726 Second Street dates to 1926 and preserves a piece of Davis’s late-1920s commercial streetscape.

The Brinley Block is a surviving piece of 1920s downtown Davis. Built in 1926, its brick commercial architecture helps show what the town’s business district looked like as Davis added paved streets, utilities and civic institutions after incorporation.
