The building tied to Davis’s first mayor
The Anderson Bank Building was constructed in 1914 by J. B. Anderson, who became Davis’s first mayor after incorporation.
The Anderson Bank Building at 203 G Street predates Davis incorporation. It was built in 1914 by J. B. Anderson to house the newly formed Bank of Davis. Anderson later became the city’s first mayor, linking the building directly to the transition from Davisville-era town to incorporated city.
